GeoMark is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our application.

GeoMark collects the following types of information:

• Location Data: We collect your device's location information (latitude and longitude coordinates) when you create or view place markers. This data is used solely to display locations on the map and store place information.
• Photos: You may choose to take photos or select images from your photo library to associate with place markers. These photos are stored locally on your device.
• Place Information: When you create a place marker, we store information you provide, including place names, addresses, notes, tags, and associated photos.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide core app functionality: displaying maps, creating and managing place markers, and organizing your locations with tags.
• To improve app performance and user experience.
• To enable features such as address resolution, map navigation, and location sharing.

3. Data Storage

All data collected by GeoMark is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit, sync, or store your data on external servers or cloud services. Your place markers, photos, tags, and other information remain private and under your control.

4. Permissions

• Location Permission: Required to display your current location on the map and to save location coordinates for place markers.
• Camera Permission: Required to take photos directly within the app to associate with place markers.
• Photo Library Permission: Required to select existing photos from your device to add to place markers.

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device's Settings app. Note that revoking permissions may limit certain app functionality.

5. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your information depends on your device's security measures. We recommend using device passcodes, Face ID, or Touch ID to protect your device and the data stored within GeoMark.

6. Third-Party Services

GeoMark may use Apple's MapKit framework to display maps and provide location services. When you use the navigation feature, you may be redirected to third-party map applications (such as Apple Maps, Google Maps, etc.) which have their own privacy policies.

7. Your Rights

• You have full control over all data stored in GeoMark.
• You can delete any place marker, photo, or tag at any time.
• You can uninstall the app at any time, which will remove all locally stored data.
• You can manage app permissions through your device's Settings.

8. Children's Privacy

GeoMark is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
